Hi Theresa!
Assuming you have a 2018 or newer fit, you’re going to want to use the apple carplay feature. This is done by connecting the phone to the car with your USB cable.
If you would like to use bluetooth, perform the following steps:
1.) Make sure your Honda Fit is in Park.
2.) Ensure Bluetooth is turned on within your phone’s settings options.
3.) Using the Display, make the following selections in this order:
Settings
Phone
Bluetooth device list
Add Bluetooth device
4.) Select your phone when it appears on the list.
IF YOUR PHONE DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE LIST:
1.) On the Add Bluetooth device screen, select “Device Not Found” button at the bottom of the screen
2.) Inside the Bluetooth options menu of your phone, search for “HandsFreeLink” under “Devices”.
3.) When the dashboard system recognizes the device, it will provide you with a six digit code on your car display. If this number pairs with the number provided on your phone, press “Pair”.
